Label   Fact Sheet

Description: Ruby color with purple glints for 2011. A touch of vanilla on the first nose then hazelnuts are coming. Black-cherry and Raspberry when the wine evolves. The attack is soft and subtile and the tannins are developped with charm on the palate. The evolution is on the fruit and red fruits are present on the finish. A light touch of oak is giving complexity to the wine. The wine will be on the peak between 2015 and 2018.

Decanter Magazine 91 FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
Continuing a run of good vintages from this estate, this wine is extremely drinkable with its succulent red fruits, tiny pulses of minerality, great florality and lovely violet notes. A very pretty wine with good balance and a mouthwatering finish.
Wine Spectator NA FOR THE 2015 VINTAGE
A red with chocolate, berry and hints of strawberry jam. Full body, lightly velvety tannins. Juicy finish. (90-91)
The Wine Advocate NA FOR THE 2015 VINTAGE
The 2015 Ch√Ęteau Mazeyres has a lovely bouquet of blackberry, briary, sous-bois and a light marine influence, all very well defined but not concerned about making a big splash at this premature juncture. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp and focused with plenty of fresh blueberry and cassis fruit, before seguing into a structured but refined finish. There is great potential here in another great Pomerol wine from Alain Moueix. (91-93)
Wine Enthusiast NA FOR THE 2016 VINTAGE
Barrel Sample. This is a ripe and generous wine, full of black fruits and ample acidity. There is plenty of tannic grip to frame the fruitiness. It is going to be rich, ripe and finely structure (91-92)
